Hello Beautiful Souls,
Today’s post is slightly different from the rest of the days because today an important planetary shift is about to take place. Uranus, the planet of rebellion, innovation, and sudden upheavals is about to go retrograde in the fiery sign of Aries for the next six months. The cards today were mainly drawn with the intention to bring guidance to us about this shift.
Retrograde phases are known to create disruptions most times (Take Mercury retrograde for instance) and Uranus is no different and can be a trouble maker. The cards are indicating that we may experience sudden changes and witness shocking surprises during this phase along with the temptation to be drawn towards those things which are not good for us. Think of the snake in the garden of Eden offering you that apple.
With Aries, a planet that is known for being fiery and hot-headed, you will need to be mindful of your temper and the need to act on impulse. Care will need to be taken while traveling and using automobiles as one can be prone to injuries as well.
On the plus side, Uranus also represents innovation. So get ready to see some new inventions come to life during this phase. You may even feel more driven to question the status quo and rebel against something that is restricting and old. And because retrogrades internalize the energy, these changes and innovations are most likely to occur within you.
Since we have the Judgement card alongside the 5 of cups, I believe the message here for us is to be open to change (I know, I know… this can be a hard thing to do at times). Know that the inevitable will come to pass and what is not meant for you is more likely to exit from your life during the next six months, not always in a pleasant manner with a kiss on your cheek. But, these changes and upheavals will give you a chance to re-examine your life and life choices more closely so that you can let go of behavior, patterns, and stuff that has thus far worked against you. Think of this as review time.
Interestingly, Uranus is known as The Great Awakener and Judgement card in Tarot also brings an awakening of sorts where one is hit by this sudden epiphany which acts as a game changer or a turning point in life. The next six months are important for all of us and we will experience a deep change on some level in some area of our life depending on where Uranus is placed in our natal chart.
Now, coming to the advice bit, first things first, stop crying over spilled milk. Yes, strange things happen to us in life sometimes which can create a sense of loss and sorrow but mine for the lessons and work on moving forward. You may also witness the psychotic side of some people coming to surface. Extroverts may feel more introverted and vice versa. But know that what is meant for you will not be taken from you. Avoid too much fixation on the past. We’re talking innovation here. There’s a new life, a new goal, and new beginnings that await you.
We also have the Dragon’s Lair card in reverse. Some things are not good for you and you probably know it too. Some paths are too dangerous and may lead to a dead-end. Some people are bad for you and you know deep down that the best thing you can do it let them go, yet you hold onto them. Some of us get an adrenaline rush by playing with fire (metaphorically speaking). Majority of the times, what is not good for you is tempting, isn’t it? Well, I have some news for you. There is no fun in sticking to that which is hurtful, harmful, and destructive to your body, mind, and soul. Be careful as such tempting offers may come calling. Pay heed to the red flags and avoid walking down those dangerous routes which you know deep within your heart will only lead to chaos in the end. Instead, change your path. Go where there is promise even though your adrenaline is pulling you in a different direction. Choose that lover who treats you well vs the one who uses and abuses you and walks away with a charming smile. Avoid taking those uncalculated risks which are clearly screaming ”DANGER” on your face.
So, is this retrograde good or bad? It’s both and it’s neither. But one thing to bear in mind is that change is not bad. Take the opportunity to learn and take stock of your life. Resolve to let go of all those things that are not good for you. Know that no matter where you are in life, you can always do better and do well. You can always start afresh and walk a brand new path.
Love, Light, and Angel Blessings
