Tarot & Astrology Musings

Mercury and Venus entered the bold and impulsive sign of Aries, yesterday. With Mercury in Aries, your mind is in a good space to invent new ideas and do quick-thinking. But for those who have a tendency to overthink and worry excessively, this placement can result in frazzled nerves and anxiety, as well. There is a tendency for one to act and say things without giving it a thorough and careful thought.

Venus in Aries can make love and sex passionate. It can give you the courage to make bold moves in your romantic life and spice things up a bit. But this placement can also lead to arguments and too much fire in our personal relationships if we don’t pay attention. It can turn us into spendthrifts. Keep your spending habits in check. All that glitters is not gold. Make wise decisions where money is concerned.

Today I drew some cards for us all as a collective. The message that is coming through in my reading for us is to withdraw from the need to control things and take action and surrender to what is. To make time to connect with our inner world because there is a wealth of insights we can find there. It is to get in touch with your feelings so that you can clear old thoughts and emotions that are not serving you well.

For many of you beautiful lightworkers and empaths out there, life situations may not be going as per your plans right now. Your life may be surrounded by many uncertainties and the fear of tomorrow could be making it hard to gain a positive perspective. Are you trying too hard to control things in your life that are beyond your control? Is there too much fire within you which instead of finding a creative outlet is ending up burning your appetite for life?

The first card that I received for us is The Hanged Man. The Hanged Man is an archetype that speaks of a time where life doesn’t take our instructions. We have very little influence and control over our lives and it’s situations. The more you want things to change, the more change will elude you. The more you chase after something, the more you will sense and be met with your limitedness. What can one do at a time where everything seems to have come to a standstill? Simple! You surrender. You wait. You let things be. You take a deep breath and allow yourself some time of non-action. Easier said than done sometimes, I know.

This is a sensitive time for us all beautiful souls. Emotions are growing wilder. Hope is hard to find and negative thoughts can easily slip through our minds. The Queen of cups brings us a message to focus our attention inwards and work towards refining our emotions. Get in touch with your feelings to see what you need to clear and what you need to nourish within you. Respect your sensitivity and your emotions in their entirety. Feel things but don’t hold onto emotions. Let them flow through you. The beautiful green colored robe of the Queen of Cups reminds us of the importance of nurturing our hearts at this time. We need to heal as a collective. Whether it is from a heartache, a wound inflicted upon as a child, an emotional block that we have carried since that first relationship break up, our emotions need healing. Embrace your shortcomings and practice acceptance with yourself.

The Angels leave us a lovely reminder at this time, lovelies. It is to spend time alone in nature, in meditation, engaging in non-action, refining our intentions and desires. Step outside, today and breathe in some fresh air, mindfully. Look at the star-filled night sky and draw down the power of starlight. Let Archangels Michael and Raphael clear your energy of any negative imprints and lower vibrations. If you are finding it hard to cope with life’s challenges and puzzling moments at this time, make a sincere request from your heart to receive courage and guidance from the Universe/your Angels/the cosmos. This too shall pass!

Sending you much Love and Light through this post,

Sonnyaa Siingh
